Somalia’s presidential candidate Mohamed Ali Ameriko has on Wednesday condoled several Somali soldiers killed in Tuesday’s Al Shabaab attack on Afgoye town.
Mr Ameriko has sent his condolences to the family and friends who lost their loved ones in Afgoye, some 30Km south west of Somali capital, Mogadishu.
Somali presidential hopeful has wished a quick recovery for the soldiers wounded in the Al Shabaab attack in Afgoye district in Lower Shabelle region.
At least 15 people, including 6 officers were killed on Tuesday after Al shabaab staged a brazen daylight car bomb and gun assault on army base in Afgoye.
Mohamed Ali Ameriko, is a presidential candidate vying for the president in the upcoming election scheduled in November 30, 2016.
