Somalia: warring tribes in Somalia signs peace treaty to conclude their enmity

Warring Somali clans in the districts of Sakow and Bardere both in the south of the capital Mogadishu signed an agreement after both sides lost men during the period of the combat.

The tribes now agreed to signed truce and to end the gaffes between them in a brotherly dialogue.

The brain behind the agreement between the two tribes came after fifteen elders from both sides stand to unify as Awey Abdirahman Mohamed who is among the elders told radio Shabelle.

In the past weeks the committee of the elders toured the areas where the fights occurred in order to access the real fact on the ground.

This action was endorsed by the other tribes in these areas and said it is an excellent step forward and good example to follow.

The initial cause of the fight was nothing other than grazing field, which is one of the major causes of Somalis battle. In period of the combat eighteen people are believed to have died and many more wounded.
