Mogadishu 10,Nov.07 ( Sh.M.Network)-An officer in the criminal investigation department was last night killed in the southern town of 245km from the capital Mogadishu this officer was trapped between two fighting groups.

The two groups exchanged fire, which was going on for few minutes.

Parliamentarian Adan Kishbur who is among the Parliamentarians who hail from Bay region said that last night as he was driving along the street of livestock market in Baidoa town met with heavy shower of fire and his guards fired back.

In his statement the MP added that the bullets the other group who were in the ambush fire killed an officer in the CID who was nearby.

The MP was much perplexed if the attack was against him or the officer in the neighborhood.

The Mp told the issue to the security department of Baidoa town and now investigations are underway.

The tension of Baidoa town was on its peak in the past week there were two explosions in the same day one targeted at an Ethiopian military truck and the other hurled at one of the buildings of the municipal.
