Mogadishu 13,Nov.07 ( Sh.M.Network)-An
explosion went off in Afgoi district 30km south of the capital Mogadishu;
this explosion was targeted at Ethiopian soldiers doing their usual
spree in the market as the forces commander in the district inspector
Ibrahim Issack said.
Shabelle correspondent Hassan Mayow on the ground said that the
explosion went off roughly at 10am local time and the explosion
is said to be remote control mine targeted at Ethiopian soldiers
in Afgoi livestock market purchasing animals.
The actual damage of the explosion is not yet apparent and it used
to be normal for Ethiopian soldiers to do their daily Shopping.
In few minutes time the commercial activities in the market came
to a halt.
The force commander of the district inspector Ibrahim told radio
Shabelle that investigations linked with the explosion are underway.
There are no reports regarding about if the Ethiopian troops opened
fire, but remained in full alert.
