Mogadishu 13,Nov.07 ( Sh.M.Network)-Minister
of Expatriates Saleh Hassan Sumei and a Swiss delegation, which
is visiting Yemen currently, headed by deputy chief of the Middle
East and North Africa talked on Wednesday over possibilities of
boosting mutual cooperation relations between Yemen and Switzerland
concerning refugees and illegal migration.
They have particularly discussed Somali refugees in Yemen and there
livelihood and the immigrants leave voyage from Puntland to shark
sea of Yemen
During
the meeting, the minister reviewed problems and obstacles which
resulted due to illegal migration to Yemen, from the Horn of African
countries, especially Somali refugees, economic and social impacts
resulted from that on all fields.
Sumei
called international communities and international organizations
to unite efforts to resolve problems of illegal mass migration and
offer support to Yemen to overcome these problems which leave many
negatives on economical conditions in Yemen and the region in general.
Somali immigrants have harsh life in Aden camps
The
Swiss official confirmed Switzerland's understanding for situations
which are being witnessed in Yemen and the size of responsibility
which fall upon Yemen due to receiving a big number of illegal migrants
from the Horn of Africa particularly in Somalia.
